வேதம் ஏன் இன்னும் ஒரு குழப்பத்திற்குரிய புத்தகமாகவே காணப்படுகிறது.
இன்றைக்கு உலகத்திலேயே குறிப்பாக தேவ பிள்ளைகளால் மிகத் தவறாக புரிந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டுள்ள ஒரு புத்தகம் (most misunderstood book) எது என்றால், அது வேதாகமம் தான். "வேதம் என்பது ஒரு வீணையானால் அதில் எந்த ஸ்வரத்தையும் (ராகத்தையும்) யார் வேண்டுமானாலும் அவரவர் விருப்பம் போல் மீட்டிக்கொள்ளலாம்" என்று ஒருவர் சொல்கிறார்.
ஆம், இன்றைக்கு அவரவர் தங்கள் இஷ்டம் போல் வேதவசனங்களுக்கு விளக்கம் கொடுக்கின்றார்கள். இன்றைக்குள்ள சபைகளின் விசுவாசம் எதின் மீது கட்டப்பட்டுள்ளது? சத்திய வசனத்தின் மீது தான் என்றால் சபைகளின் இத்தனை குழப்பங்களும் எங்கேயிருந்து வந்தன?
அதற்கான எல்லா முலகாரணங்களையும் (elements) நாம் தீர்க்கமாய் ஆராய வேண்டியுள்ளது. அவற்றில் சிலவற்றை மாத்திரம் இங்கே நாம் ஒவ்வொருநாளும் ஆராய்ந்து பார்க்கலாம்.

கிங் ஜேம்ஸ் மற்றும் அதை அப்படியே காப்பியடித்த தமிழ் மொழிதவிர "இம்மூவரும் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறார்கள்" என்ற வசனமே வேறெந்த மொழிபெயர்ப்பிலும் இல்லை. தமிழிலும் அதை அடைப்புக்குறிக்குள்தான் கொடுத்திருக்கிறார்கள், என்ன நயமான அதுவும் திரித்துவம் சம்பந்தமான இடைச்செருகல்.
'இது எபிரெயு கிரேக்கு என்னும் மூல பாஷைகளிலிருந்து தமிழில் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்டுள்ளது' என்ற முழு பூசனிக்காயை சோற்றில் மறைக்கும்,
முதல் பக்கத்திலேயே பிரமாண்டமான பொய்யை அச்சிட்டிருக்கும் தமிழ் வேதாகமத்தின் பெயர்
"பரிசுத்த வேதாகமம்".???
இதற்குத்தான் ஒரேஒரு மொழிபெயர்ப்பை வேதவாக்காக எண்ணினால் இத்தகைய குழப்பங்கள் நேரிடும்...
